ADVOCACY

How do you want to leave your mark on the world?

If you were to ask me that question, my answer would be that I want to make a difference in the lives of animals. I want to use my skills and experience, and my love, to allow them to feel a greater level of happiness - for the chickens, pigs, cows and sheep to be able to exercise their natural behaviours; for wild animals to be free; for all animals to be safe from harm and to be fed a natural diet.

And so I use my qualifications as a lawyer and experience in practising animal law to assist with legislative change, policy improvements and education.  I do this through my collaboration with a number of organisations including Voiceless, The Animal Law Institute, the Centre for Compassionate Conservation and the Australian Animal Protection Law Journal.  I am often called on to speak at animal rights rallys and events.

Below is a sample of my projects, what I like to call my passion projects - projects that make my soul sing, that allow me to use my knowledge, skills and experience to spread the love for animals. You will also find a list of events that I will be participating in as an advocate for the animals.
