This is a recording of a 2 hour live workshop that was held on 8 July 2021.

Would you like to read and understand pet food labels?

Would you like to be able to confidently choose healthy food for your pet?

Understanding what's actually in pet food and whether it's healthy for your pet can be quite tricky.

Pet food labels (and marketing!) is designed to confuse the consumer, to lead them into thinking that this is the best food for your pet.

Certain claims are made, which can sound great, on the face of it. But when you look a little deeper, you might be shocked to find out that the food you're being told is healthy for your pet, actually isn't.

Instead, it could actually be damaging to your pet's health.

How can you understand those mysterious labels and make sense of the marketing claims?

Join me in my new decoding pet food labels workshop!

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU IF:

  • YOU BUY COMMERCIAL PET FOOD, AND

  • YOU WANT TO ENSURE THAT THE FOOD YOU’RE BUYING YOUR CAT OR DOG IS ACTUALLY HEALTHY.

This is an interactive workshop that's going to open your eyes to pet food labels. I'm going to be taking you through a range of pet food labels and interpreting them for you.

Finally, get an understanding of:

  • what all those health claims mean,

  • what the percentages mean,

  • what are all those ingredients,

  • what the heck is actually in that pet food, and

  • will it actually give your pet what they need for optimum health.

Plus with the inclusion of healthy food examples, you will be able to compare all of the labels featured and have an understanding of what healthy food looks like.

All of the pet food labels in the first section of the workshop were provided to me by workshop participants as examples of foods that they were feeding their cats or dogs at the time of the live workshop. The only labels I selected for analysis were the labels of healthy foods in the final section of the workshop that I regularly recommend to my clients as convenience food options in combination with a home prepared diet.

Bonus PDF Interpretive Guide to Pet Food Ingredients

Accompanying the workshop recording is a pdf interpretative guide to pet food ingredients. You can use this as a forever resource to decode pet food ingredients.

Here's what some of the participants told me after completing the workshop:

"I am always looking for the best, healthiest way to feed my pets. It’s what I do for my family, so that includes the pets. However, I do often get sucked in by marketing of pet foods and order some kibble. What your workshop did was open my eyes to the tricks and it reassured me to stick to my guns!... I thought your workshop was informative, friendly, easy to learn from and at a bargain price!" - Cath Carlick

This workshop will teach you how to read and understand pet food labels so that you can confidently choose healthy food for your pet.

You will no longer be sucked in by marketing hype. You will understand the difference between cheap, low quality ingredients and ingredients that actually give you what your pet needs, as nature intended for them to eat. No more cheap, nasty, dead foods for your pet! Just healthy, whole foods that help them thrive.

Upon completing your purchase, the workshop recording and pdf guide will be emailed to you in a Zip file for immediate download.
